Easter

Please join us this Sunday for our Easter service at 9:30am out on the lawn. This will be a family service so there will be no children's classes. Be sure your child gets a goodie bag before service. There maybe some things inside to help them if they get too wiggly during the service.

We hope to see you on Sunday! Have a blessed Easter.

Remember...

There is no HALFTIME this week. I hope everyone is enjoying their spring break. We can't wait to see you again on March 25th.

March 25 will be the last day to turn in stuffed animals, ink cartridges, and old cell phones for our missionaries. Call the church office and ask for Gina Orr or Jeni Gibbs if you have any questions about what we are collecting.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!
Have an AWESOME week!

A Parents Prayer

They're only little once.
Grant me the wisdom to guide them down the path that their feet should take.
For I know that they can never turn back and walk those paths with me again.
Give me the wisdom to guide their feet so that someday they'll be able to walk alone.
They're only little once.
Give me the time I need to enjoy them.
For I know that after they're grown, I'll never have another chance
to tell stories and pretend at those tea parties.
I'll never have another chance
to watch them in a school play or sing in church, or to see them catch that first fish or score that first goal or hit that first home run ball.
Give me the time in life's busy schedule to have fun with my children.
They're only little once.
Let me be a loving parent.
Let me correct and not just punish, explain and not merely scold.
Let me know when to correct, and how often, and when it's best to just look the other way.
Help me be patient and give me a gentle hand to mould them into better people.
They're only little once.
Let me be a good teacher and an even better example.
Give me the right words and deeds to teach them.
Help me to teach them about You and how to walk in Your ways
so that when they are old they will not depart from Your ways.
For they're only little one time,
only innocent and trusting and pliable for a space of time, one minute in an eternity.
Let me do my best for them while I have the chance.
Amen

February is just around the corner

What is happening in February?
Room 4/5 will be getting a fresh coat of paint
We are in the process of making room 4/5 into a walker room. Starting March 1st, this room will be used by our walkers- 2 years olds. Our three year olds will move up to room 14. Room 14 will become the Preschool House (3 and 4 year old). Our Kindergarten friends will move up to the Little House (K-2nd grade). These changes will allow our walkers plenty of room to well.......walk! They will be able to walk and play without the interference of our crawlers. We have many babies and soon to be crawlers joining our nursery soon.

In February we will also have a teacher appreciation breakfast for all our volunteers. Parents, you can help by volunteering in your child classroom. The children will have a movie day so all you would need to to is supervise and hand out snacks. If this is something you feel you could do for us would you please contact Jeni Gibbs at 602-866-0889 ext. 108. Thank you!

HALFTIME:
February 11th will be our Hearty party! Bring Valentines to share with your table.
This will also be store night.

Feb. 18 will be Red, White and Blue night. Dress in these colors to celebrate Presidents Day with us.

I'm sure February is going to fly by just like December and January did. So hold on tight and enjoy the ride as you take in everything February has to offer.

Don't forget...

tomorrow (1/14) is fishbowl night at Halftime!
fishbowl Pictures, Images and Photos

Bring a friend! Everyone will get their name put into a fishbowl for a drawing. What could you win? How about some goldfish crackers or a Finding Nemo coloring book? Or, how about a real live GOLDFISH!!!!! Don't miss out. It will be a fun night!

Sunday in class we talked about giving. Jesus wants us to give from humble hearts. Everything we have is Gods and we should be willing to give back to Him. God will be happy if I give Him a handful of money and He would be happy if I could only give Him two coins. He just wants us to be willing to give happily. We don't need to "show off" when we give. Will you give your best to God?
Our verse was: John 14:23 If anyone loves me, then he will obey my teachings.
We missed many of our friends this week and hope to see you back next week!

It was so nice to see everyone back last night for Halftime! Mrs. Greene shared a wonderful lesson with us reminding us that Jesus is with us wherever we go. Joshua 1:9

Next week will be fishbowl night. The entire night will be pretty" fishy".
Hope to see you there!

This past Sunday, in our preschool class, we talked about pleasing God. John 14:23 says "If anyone loves me, then he will obey my teaching." Our focus was on how we can please God.
